Race for Eggs is a Roblox simulation / tycoon game by xFrozen x Dudes. The loop the official listing describes is short: train to gain Speed, win races to earn eggs, then use pets to earn Cash. Updates ship every Saturday, and Roblox Plus members get +10% Cash.

This is an independent wiki, and it separates what is published from what is not. The developer has never published egg costs, hatch odds, pet rarities or pet income values, and there is no official wiki. Rather than filling those gaps with guesses, every page here shows what is verified today, what is only reported, and what is still unknown.

What is this game

Race for Eggs is a Roblox simulation / tycoon game where Speed is the progression currency. You train to raise it, races convert it into eggs, and eggs convert into pets that earn Cash while you keep racing. Carrying an egg slows you down, so the number that decides a race is your carried speed rather than the speed on your stat page.

The game is free to play and holds 5 players per server, so a session is a small group rather than a large public lobby. It went live on June 21, 2026 and has shipped on a weekly Saturday cadence since.

Several details stay unpublished: egg costs, hatch odds, pet rarities, pet income and the speed each zone requires. Those rows are labelled Unknown here rather than estimated, and the pages that can be checked are linked from the navigation below.

Top zone records

Zone difficulty in order, ranked by the one progression metric the game publishes: the share of badge holders who reached each zone. Read it as a progression signal, not a difficulty score.

Clear rates from the Roblox badges API, checked 2026-09-25. We do not know the speed each zone requires — the developer has never published it, so that row says Unknown instead of guessing.

Egg records to check

The eggs we can point at a source for, with the zone each one is tied to. This list is short on purpose: if an egg is not here it is because we could not evidence it, not because it does not exist.

Core Gameplay Overview

The official description names the first three of these directly — train for Speed, win races for eggs, use pets for Cash. The rest are the steps that connect them into a repeatable run.

  1. 1

    Train for Speed

Speed gates everything else. Spending the first minutes in the training area is what makes a race winnable rather than a coin flip.

  2. 2

    Win races to earn eggs

Races are the egg source. You only need to beat the rest of the field, not hit a fixed time, so a thin margin is still a win.

  3. 3

    Carry the egg home

Carrying an egg costs you speed, so the return leg decides whether you keep it. Measure that route while carrying, not empty-handed.

  4. 4

    Hatch and place pets

Hatch collected eggs into pets, then place them. Placed pets are the only income that keeps earning while you race, train or step away.

  5. 5

    Spend Cash on income

The official description says pets earn Cash. Spend it on whatever raises your Cash per minute, because that rate decides how long the next upgrade takes.

  6. 6

    Rebirth on your own numbers

Rebirth trades part of your current run for something permanent. The developer publishes no requirement, reward or multiplier, so decide it from your own measured rate.

Plan with the values you can see

Upgrade prices, pet income and your real carried speed are all visible inside the game, and none of them are published by the developer. Use the numbers on your own screen before committing to the next run, and treat a figure from a video or a comment as a starting point to measure rather than as a fact.

3 things every beginner should know

1Carried speed decides racesCarrying an egg slows you down, so the number that wins races is your speed while carrying — not the speed on your stat page.
2Race Carry PlannerEnter your own bare speed, carry penalty, Cash per minute and next upgrade cost, then read the answer instead of guessing at it.
3Know what is unknownEgg costs, hatch odds, pet rarities, pet income and the speed each zone requires are not published. Those rows stay labelled Unknown rather than estimated.

FAQ

How many codes does Race for Eggs have?

One working code as of 2026-09-25: RELEASE, which grants one Lizard pet. Redeem it in the Shop → Codes tab. We also list a single unconfirmed outlier, RELEASE1, only so you can recognise it — it is not counted as a working code.

Does Race for Eggs publish egg drop rates?

No. The developer has not published hatch odds, rarity percentages or pet income values, and there is no official wiki. We mark those rows Unknown rather than inventing numbers, because a wrong drop rate is worse than no drop rate.

What is the hardest zone in Race for Eggs?

By the official badge clear rates, MAMOTH is the hardest: 0.6% of badge holders earned it, against 48% for T-Rex. Badges are only a proxy for progression, but they are the one progression signal the game itself publishes.

Why does carrying an egg matter so much?

Carrying an egg slows you down, so the binding constraint is the speed that wins a race while carrying — not the speed on your stat page. The Race Carry Planner is built entirely around that gap.
